Primary Colours, a Canadian jazz trio from Ottawa, ON, blends acoustic and electric elements in their music, drawing inspiration from jazz traditions and contemporary artists like Robert Glasper, GoGo Penguin, Tigran Hamasyan, and Herbie Hancock. The trio, consisting of Deniz Lim-Sersan (keys), Chris Pond (bass), and José Hernandez García (drums), creates unique head-nodding grooves and soulful melodies.
Their debut album, All Love was released in October 2023 and is available on streaming platforms. Their music video for \Artemis\ is on their YouTube channel. They’ve also been featured in the Ottawa Jazz Festival’s Homegrown Series.
